I bleed

Short update time mefinks. So, friday I had some people around and we partied and such like, which was all good. Nothing of particular interest happened though. Saturday we lost at hockey yet again. Woops. Later on I went to osbrones for daynes leaving party and/or tom's 18th. All in all, a cool evening, with us driving off in laurens car to pick up milky, despite the car already being full. Woops. Not comfortable, I tell you. I'm gonna miss dayne, but I hope he has an awesome time in canada. Sunday I did...fuck all. Tuesday i took a trip to harrow to buy t-shirts for young enterprise, and also bought myself a couple of games and wicked led zeppelin poster. And that is what you call a short update. To finish, lets have a picture of dayne, with bish. Naked. Him and his gangsta antics will be greatly missed.

Memories...

Earlier I was looking for some photos to give to matt so he can put said photos in a book for dayne, who is leaving us this weekend. This ended up with me taking a huge trip down memory lane and finding loads of photos of piss-ups, parties and other such stuff. It made me think how much I miss year 11 in some ways. Sure, GCSEs sucked, we had a shit year, no free periods and an insane amout of coursework but it was still fun, and nobody really took it seriously. But times are changing. Now we've hit A-levels, everyones getting scared and serious. I have failed to follow this ideal. The perfect example (no offence to dean, this just happened to work) is that theres a strokes gig on tuesday, and as its in a tiny venue, you had to get tixs from the box office, and as they go on sale on monday, we'd have to skip a bit of school. I was all up for it, and assumed dean would be too. However, he didn't wanna miss school, and him saying something like "maybe in year 11, but not now" catches what I'm talking about perfectly. Again, no offence to dean, its fair does if he doesn't wanna go, I just can't help thinking. I mean, we're all in what is probaly the best years of our lives. We'll get to 20 or so, finish uni, get a job and that'll be it, thats our lives. I'm not stupid as to think that A-levels are easy, but in the end, theres always gotta be time for some fun. I mean, whats the point in living when you can't feel alive? This is why I miss year 11. Sure, there were bad times. We sometimes spent too much time going out, and not enough time working and we got in shit, but we had a blast in the meantime. It just seems that now we're in sixth form we've all changed. We've grown up, and its too early for that. Most of us have even got bored of alcohol. I know that we're always told we shouldn't drink too much, 'cause it shortens our life and all that bollocks. But I really don't want to get to 80 or 90, unable to care for myself and thinking, I wish I'd had more fun when I was 17. I wanna get to 70, and know I haven't got long to live 'cause I've totally fucked my body, but I'll realise that I don't care 'cause I've spent my life having fun, getting drunk and stoned, hanging around with friends, doing stupid things which aren't healthy and all in all just having the time of my fucking like. If I die at 50 or 60, who gives a fuck? I sure as hell don't. No matter what we do, we all die sometime, and we might as well use the time we have to do what we wanna do, not do as we're told, drink in moderation, be sensible, do our work, pay our bills, be a good citizen and all that bollocks. That just isn't me, and nothings gonna change who I am. I'm gonna stop now, and do the one and only thing I had planned to do when I started this post. This is probaly one of my favourites photos ever. It captures how happy everyone is, and thats the way it should always be. I hate to sound cheesy, but, Rock On!
I'll leave you with this verse from "Adams song" by Blink 182.

I never conquered, rarely came
16 just held such better days
days when I still felt alive
we couldn't wait to get outside
the world was wide, too late to try
the tour was over, we'd survived
I couldn't wait till I got home
to pass the time in my room alone.

Mezmerize the simple minded, propaganda leaves us blinded

Well, I haven't updated in a while so I though as I am off school today, now is as good a time as any. Not much has happened this week really. Well, apart from one extra special thing, that being seeing the great mr dylan. He managed to be pretty good, despite the fact that is amazingly obvious that his voice is dying. Also, his band was fucking amazing, as well as coming from pretty much every corner of the US that is known. And they all wore awesome hats, except one which gave dean great pleasure. In fact, I think dean enjoyed it the most out of all of us, especially as he informed us before the gig that he had literally been bouncing up and down for the few hours before we met to go to the gig, and he was desperate to get there as early as physically possible. The gig finished at around 9:45, with the man having been on for two hours, and so myself jenni and dean headed home, feeling very satisfied. Yesterday I hung round sauls for the day, played various games including Timesplitters and Mario Kart. All in all, a cool day, and Paul being beaten at super smash bros by kent was an added bonus, silly paul. And now I return to being ill, and probaly getting some work done also.

We are the youth of the nation.

So, interesting week. I'll keep this brief, as I'm fooking knackered. Only real interesting things were the Starsailor concert on friday. They were a lot better than I expected, the lead singer really does have a cool voice. After the gig i gave my major thanking to my uncle for paying for me to go, hes a cool uncle. Saturday was spent playing the first of two hockey matches. We ended up playing with 10 players, and losing 5-2, which was not cool. Saturday evening was far too cool, I met mr dobby and PW at sainsburys at around 7, and bought lots of alcohol. We then cycled over to rachels house to begin the partay. All in all, it was a pretty awesome evening. We scanned through music channels, stopping briefly on channel u to yell "channel u bruv" and listen to some seriously gangsta music, expecting richy c to come through a wall or window any second. As the evening proceeded, more and more people got drunk, until the first casualty of the evening occured. Benjamin Cann had drunk too much, and stumbled to the door. unfortunately I was in the way, so the big fat fucking dyke threw up on my arm, and rachels wall. Thankfully it washed off both places easily, but hes still not forgiven. At about 2AM everyone started heading to bed, but I wasn't in the mood to sleep so I sat around in the kitchen with innes and surfed the web and stuff. Eventually I surrendered to the sleep ideal, grabbing a load of pillows and blankets and searching for somewhere to sleep. I settled on the bath. Said bath was filled with cushions and blankets until it was properly fucking comfy. I collapsed in my bath/bed at about 5, got to sleep at about 6 and then slept for about an hour. This explains why I am le tired. And the fact that I had a game against what is most probaly one of the best hockey teams in the country didn't really help. We played cantebury U18s and lost 17-3. yes, they scored 17 goals. we rule. The evening had consisted of falling asleep watching tv and having a warm bath. Now I must go and work, and then sleep.

Funeral for a friend, ya!

So, last night me and richy c (being hardcore emo kids) went to the Taste of Chaos tour. Bands on the bill included Story of the year (emo fags), bleed the dream (emo fags), The used (emo fags), Rise Against (cool metal band), Killswitch Engage (music for angry bald men, by angry bald men) and Funeral for a Friend (cool emo fags). While at the concert, I learned a few things including the following:
  • Me and richy c are really fucking lazy, only going to the front for two or three bands.
  • Rise Against really are very cool.
  • Killswitch Engage really are very angry, and emo kids cower when they come on stage
  • emo kids really don't like crowd surfers
  • emo kids really are total faggots.
  • Perhaps the thing I realised most, me and richy c really, really, really don't fit in. Before the gig, we went over our clothing. I was wearing an old metallica hoodie (I did look for one of my vans hoodies, but it turned out richy c had it and was wearing it himself. thief) and a rage against the machine t-shirt. The only item clothing either of us was wearing that was vaguely emo was our belts, and richy c's was the only one whos belt was on show, and as usual below his ass. stupid boy.
  • Finally, emo kids really are total faggots.

However, the gig was pretty cool. The Used were the big suprise of the evening, actually being fairly decent. Killswitch Engage were angry. Rise Against were cool. And Funeral For a Friend managed to be total faggots and quite cool at the same time. I also met dan walker near the end, and charlotte on the way out. Me and richy rounded off the evening by beating up 200 emo kids each, causing a further 300 to sit down, cut themselves, and write poems about it. However, we eventually got tired and decided to head home. Today I overslept a tad, getting into school at 11:30, and having a boring day. That is all.

I'm really freakin out.

So, fields on friday failed. It was cold, it was raining, and we're a bunch of pussies, so we didn't go. I ended up staying at richy c's for the evening with matt james and ben. It was a cool evening, we listened to lots of music, watched old school skate videos and such like. We also made a trip to the end of the road for kebabs, and on the way down we smashed a skateboard which richy c found in the streets months ago, and then hung the remains on the top of the tudor way arches. And we also got offered weed in the kebab shop by a very dodgy looking man with even dodgier looking friends outside. Richy c took his number just to make him go away. After kebabs we headed home, and I went to sleep. Saturday was more interesting. I played hockey, and forgot my hat so I was pretty much blind for the game. We drew 1-1, despite the fact that we played the whole first half one man down. I also got my first ever card, a green for tripping some guy up and thus sending him flying. Woopsies. After hockey I arranged with paul to go to uxbridge in order to buy myself a memory card for my phone, and a new webcam. In the end, I got neither, as nowhere in ux sound memory cards and I wasn't willing to spend £30 for a decent webcam which I'd never really use. However, I did buy the only nirvana album I don't own,"From the Muddy Banks of the WishKah". Also, I was given The Wall by jennifer, which was cooool. The evening was spent round le rachels, where I consumed copious amount of alcohol and ended up passing out on her sofa after an evening of serious tuneage and drunken hilarity. I also managed to break rachels garage door somehow, pulling out the six screws which kept it in place. That was a big fuck up. I woke up in the morning to find myself with 2's and random insults all up my arms, and later I found even more on my face. i went home and had little fun getting off the writing, as it was in permanent pen and so had to be got off with nail varnish remover, which when applied to my face gave me an instant hangover in effect, as the smell gave me an awful headache and made me feel sick. Great. Thus I slept for most of the day and have therefore done no work all weekend. I managed to feel alright to go to kents party at nandos in the evening, though so many people dropped out on it at the last second, leaving myself mike b saul and innes alone with a load of random kentish friends from jujitsu or something. It was an alright meal, and I think going was a nice thing to do. saul wins the prize for being nice though, turning up looking incredibly hungover, and no surprises there. After the meal we went back to kents house for a bit, though saul and innes headed home. I stayed there for an hour or so, and thankfully everyone left shortly after mike did so I could scurry away back to my own house. And now I will sleep.

Happy birthday to meeeeeee

Well, at 11:11 this morning I turned 17. This was during government and politics, and jenni and kate got the class to sing me happy birthday, which was embarrasing. Apart from that, my day was pretty average. went to a young enterprise meeting at lunch, got a card off nick at break or lunch. Unfortunately I didn't get many presents as I already have my main present, that being ze phone. I had been planning to bunk geography, but my teacher saw me before tut so i decided not to. In tut I had a good long talk with adam (grant) about the bday party of his I went to years ago, and then we moved on to have a cool talk about movies and other general catching up stuff. It was good to talk with him. Geography was boring as fuck, and the highlight of the day was seeing adrian getting on his ped after school, allowing me to cycle past shouting "neeeeeeeeeeeeeeee", in tune with the noise of his ped. I have a feeling adrian is gonna go mental soon, but fuck it. I'm hoping to assemble a crack team of alcy friends and head down to the fields tonight, by which I mean LETS GO GET FUCKED!

The Third Coming.

Looks like blogging is yet to be done with me. I suppose the reason i always make a new blog is 'cause I want to write down what I do, so my life is recorded. Also it helps me vent some frustration. However, this time I will be blogging anonymously, as I really only relate for friends, and they'll know who I am. So thats it really, I'm back. I have now been blogging, on and off, for about one year, one month, and 8 days. I began on october 2 2004, and I will continue for as long as I feel like it. So you got me for the long run. Anyway, enough with this introduction bollocks, I do this to record what I do. I cannot be bothered to give the tale of eveything that has happened since I stopped blogging, so I'll just name the most important event, that being Bloodhound Gang last night. All in all, it was a pretty cool gig, even if they did miss out some classics like "Mope", "Yummy Down On This" and "I Hope You Die". I managed to test out the camera on my new phone for gig photos, and it did well, especially when it came to taking videos. All in all, it was a cool night and was well worth being dead to the world this morning and being so late to school that I missed tut completly. In other news, I will turn 17 years of age tomorrow at 11:11 AM. I have no plans for what to do, and I've already got my main present, so I have doubts about how great a birthday its going to be. But I can hope. That is all i have to say for now, so I bid you good night.
