So pardon me while I burst into flames, I've had enough of the world and its peoples mindless games.

I NEED to go to the Download festival. It is a neccisty to my existence. Metallica and Guns and Roses headling. I mean, it worth it just for that. Unfortunately it is very unlikely, as my main "heavy metal" partner mr nicholas smitten is still doing his exams when the festival is on. god damn those exams. So, on with the post. Last weekend was a good one for hockey. On saturday we beat Wokingham 3's, 4-1 putting us safely out of the regulation zone. And we have 2 or 3 easy games with the lower down teams coming up, so we should finish fairly high up the table. Saturday night I went to mikes and did a fair bit of drinking, playing Unreal Tournament and talking with various people. The hilarity of the evening was gareth being violently sick outside odue to combining cider and weed a bit too much. Drugs are bad children! ...sort of. At about 12 we all headed home, and as usual myself and quirke were the last two, taking the long trek back to the ghetto hood that is Hillingdon. Quirke stopped off at the kebab shop t get some munch, as the fat bastard needs regular feeding. I got home, played some Guild Wars, then went to bed. On sunday the Under 18s played Chelmsford and won 3-2, including a lovely undercut shot by saul which resulted in a beautiful top corner goal. The rest of the day was spent lazing around doing very little. The only event of notice so far this week was myself being ill on tuesday for no apparent reason, and waking up 6 hours later feeling fine. Roll on the weekend!

I went to the concert, I fought through the crowd.

Its been a pretty cool few days. On wednesday I went to mikes with quirke dean tom and saul, and we spent the evening played Unreal Tournament over mikes LAN, which was awesome, especially as we mostly spent the evening trying to blow each other up with the Redeemer, which is always fun. Thursday was daniellas party, which was cool, with everyone getting very drunk, and myself and nick managing to control the music for most of the evening. Unfortunately I ended up leaving with some alcohol which I thought was leftovers from the 3 bags full which I had bought for various people, but it turned out that it was dannis. Hopefully I can return that at mikes tomorrow, if she comes. If not, it could ge complex. Friday I spent being hungover a lot, though jennis advice of drinking orange juice did help, meaning that I was able to join her in seeing the strokes that evening. We arrived at the hammersmith, got foods, and joined an amazingly short queue. We got in, parked ourselves behind a barrier a little way back from the stage, due to us both feeling a little fragile, me due to my still slightly present hangover, and her due to lack of sleep and such. Jenni got me to buy her a beer, and we waited for the first support to come on. I never managed to catch the name of the support, despite the leader saying it at least 4 times. The second support came from Adam Green, though jenni only realised this when we were told. Apparently he did a really good cover of "What A Waster". And he was very, very drunk which was amusing. During the breakk me and jenni signed up for The Strokes mailing list, and because of this we a got a free Adam Green CD and some funky stickers. Then it was time for The Strokes, who were amazing, despite having had very mixed reviews. I knew every song except the opener, which I can only assume is one of the songs from later on in their new album, as I haven't listened to that part of the album much. Apart from this, they played a really great set, with a variation of their new stuff like "Juicebox", "Heart in a Cage" and "Evening Sun" as well as the old classics such as "new York City Cops", "The End Has No End", and of course the classics "Last Nite" and "Reptilia". The only thing missing was "Is This It" which I would have thought would be a good opener, due to being the first song off their first album. Overrall, a great gig, though a few songs in jenni felt a bit faint so we had to move back so she should get some air. I went to get her some water, and laughed at the stupidly drunk guy who stacked it while leaning on the bar. A couple of minutes later we went back forward a bit, and I think we ended up pretty much level with where we were before. I managed to get a few decent photos, but my battery died just before "Reptilia" came on, which sucked as that and "New York City Cops" where the two songs that I wanted to video. Oh well. I got a recording of most of "Last Nite" and Juicebox" which I had yet to listen to. And now I'm going to play Guild Wars. I'm not addicted. Honest.

Don't waste your time on me you're already a voice inside my head

Y'know, valentines day is one of the days on which the world is basically laughing at me for not having and never had have a girlfriend, or a valentine of any kind. My decision on this matter was not to leave my house today, and after watching TV after doing my paper round, I also decided not to watch TV either. This way, I cannot be reminded that it is valentines day and thus I will not be depressed by the whole affair. Another part of my plan was to get some work done today, but dean spoiled this with tales of playing halo. unfortunately, deans copy of halo is fucked up and after a couple of hours of trying to fix it, we gave up. This would solve matters and give me time to do work, but now I'm just gonna play Halo until some ridiculous hour in the morning. And if any son of a bitch mentions valentines day when I'm playing, they are so fucking dead. Not that I mind being wished a happy valentines day by friends or anything, as thats just good will. But I still want to kill shit. Anyway, moving on to the events of half term so far. Friday evening was spent round rachels where we did typically nothing, except listen to music, order food and talk crap. Saturday was somewhat more eventful. Unfortunately, we lost 3-2 to a team who we really should have beaten, though we did have a fair few of players from the team below us. Thankfully the day got better. We were celebrating benjamin canns bday, so we first went for an expensive meal at pizza express, and then headed back to pilchs to partay. We drank, smoked, and pilch took illegal drives in his mums car at stupid hours in the morning. And then he gave me a lift home too. Sunday I went round freyas for another party, which was cool, until her 'rents turned up, which put something of a dampner on the evening. But these things are to be expected, so never mind. yesterday I had some people round for some beers and such, nothing exciting. Sorry about the lack of detail, I can't be bothered with blogging right now. I'm still not feeling too great, even if my headaches have lessened somewhat.

Never thought you'd fuck with my brain

So, I just had a scary incident. I was thinking to myself, hmm, what would be a good lyric to entitle this post. I though of "My Sweet Prince" by Placebo, and so booted up a new window in Firefox to look for the lyrics so I could do some copying. And then "My Sweet Prince" came on, at odds of 1 to 5,874. So. Moving on. I haven't been having a good few days really. I'm tired, stressed, a bit depressed and to top it off, I'm getting recurring headaches, exactly like the ones that plagued me between the ages of like 3 and 10. Fucking great. I had a half decent weekend, though. Went to nicks on friday where I got very very drunk thanks to half a bottle of whiskey, a fair few beers, and numerous drinking games. Me and quirke ended up sitting in the fields for an hour or so, listened to some random music, before making the final drunk stumble back to our houses. Saturday I drew 1-1, though we should have won as had about 90% of the possession. And the opposition were wankers. I was elbowed in the face, barged, hit with a hockey stick in the foot twice and generally pushed around. Saturday night I went round innes, we played a few random board games played Pro Evo Soccer 4 a bit, mainly me seeing how many people I could get sent off. And that was it really. Sunday I did a bit of work, and went to hockey training before getting an earlyish night, though I'm still knackered. Monday I got screwed at by my geography teacher and threatened with being put on a Progress Check for not doing one piece of hw, when i wasn't even the lesson which we did the work for it. Bitch.

I wish you'd stop ignoring, because its sending me to despair.

Been in a weird mood lately. That is, I haven't really been in any kind of mood as I keep swinging from extreme to extreme. Strange. Anyway, don't feel much like posting so I'll keep this brief. Sort of. So. The weekend. Friday night was spent at hannahs along with amy kate and peter. The evening resulted in lots of drinking games, with me on whisky and everyone else on vodka, and lots of drunkeness. Hannah ended up throwing due to having lost the drinking games a fair few times. Or won, depending on which way you look at it. But all in all, a cool evening. Saturday we won, though I have no idea who we played against or what the score was, and I managed to still be drunk when i turned up at the pitch around 12:30, meaning I was drunk for over 12 hours easily, and there was no hangover anything, which was definetly cool. Saturday night was innes party, which was awesome. A fair few people got very drunk, there was lots of music, random talking and photos, including this one, which was awesome. The evening ended at about 11:30, when everyone got chucked out. saul left with pen all over his body, as usual. Nick was having trouble with his basic motor fucntions and paul was also pissed. Based on this judgement, a good party, though I enjoyed it less than others. Sunday was spent lounging around playing Timesplitters and not much else really. And thus school started again, I'm tired, frustrated and generally not having much fun. But half term is soon. woo.
