Carved upon my stone, my body lies but still I roam.

So, unlike I predicted, I didn't fail geog or psychology. Both went fairly well. Psychology I thought was pretty easy, a few questions I wasn't too sure about but overrall I'm not too worried. Geography was a bit more difficult, but I'm confident I at least got a B. Unfortunately the hard exams are still to come, politics and history. Not particuarly looking forward to those. Anyway, the half term so far. On friday we had a genuine party at pauls, which was both awesome and shit at the same time. It was awesome because we were actually having a party at pauls, something I found hilarious. But it also shit because, despite the fact that he had a free house all weekend, he only had about 10 people around. Nevertheless, bird tables found their way into his room, the computer monitor and TV in his room switched places, his DVDs were turned around the wrong way, and probaly a fair few things I wasn't made aware of. Though I had nothing to do with it, as I had to swear to be good to paul so he'd invite more people, even though only like three extra people came in the end. It was an alright evening though, got a little drunk, chatted shit, played stupid drinking games and generally had a cool time. However, the next day I had an entirely undeserved hangover, made even worse by the fact that me and richy c had to go to harrow in order to get matt a bong for his bday present. And richy c coming in at 11:30 in the morning and punching me to wake me up probaly didn't do me that much good. I grabbed a prawn mayo sandwich from gregs, possibly not the best of ideas as dairy products make hungover people throw up. Which I did, in harrow on the hill station toilet. But after this, I felt a lot better and was able to get on with my day. We got matt a bong and some other weed related crap, then headed home. When I got home I had me a nice nap, from about 2 till 5 at which point I got up and prepared for matts by having a shower and assorted crap. At about 7, me richy c siobhan quirke and emo eddy headed over to matts. Somehow it took us an hour to get there, probaly due to stopping to buy alcohol, and collecting a reena and a jenni along the way. When we arrived at matts party it was pretty much the same as last year, with the marquee tent set up with beer and shit in it. Though this year it was mostly stoners who were there. I ended up getting a little drunk and a little stoned, both at different points in the evening, but suprisingly I didn't get as fucked as I had planned. One event of the evening was particuarly hilarious, when bish tried to a roll a rather large joint in matts front room, while fucked off his face. It was made more difficult by the fact that he managed to get the sticky part of the rizla the wrong way out, resulting in him having to try and left handed back roll it. A little while later, matts 'rents were spotted outside. Moving faster than any stoned person ever has before, matt and assorted other people cleared the table we were using, picked up the joint and ran off, then picked up the tablecloth with all the weed that was falling out of the joint, and legged it out back. Duncan ended up carrying the tablecloth, so outside was a very confused looking duncan. But then again, duncan always looks confused. At about 1, me richy c and emo eddy headed home, as eddy was sleeping over richys. Me and richy were stone cold sober, while eddy was totally at the other end of the scale. he complained of being "the most hungriest" he'd ever been, and generally amused me and richy c. Sunday I had a lie in, as I'd cancelled my paper round in aniticipation of a God-awful hangover as a result of being fucked at matts. But instead I lazed around all day. This pattern was continued for most today, except when i went to ventures in the evening, where we were making board games for some strange reason. The only reason I managed to get to ventures was thanks to a recently installed Guild Wars function, which every hour reminds you how long you've been playing for. This time it said "You have been playing for 6 hours. Please take a break". Now, i hadn't been playing constantly, with short breaks for lunch, dinner, and one very small break for revision, but still. Its quite impressive. anyway, back to the board games. The highlight of the evening was when Nick managed to create the officialy most geekiest thing in existence. It was a Pac Man board game. It was a tabletop game. It was turn based and to top it all, in actual practice it would require a 12 sided dice. Shockingly, the rules mostly worked except for a few flaws, and it was fairly fun to play. Nick was immensely proud of himself, and took his creation home, plotting to try and make his fortune. And now I have come home. Time for some Guild Wars!

Theres a train leaving town in an hour, its not waiting for you, and neither am I.

So, as some of you may know, my 'rents have rather foolishly chosen to go away the weekend after my exams finish. So obviously I have been planning a party (talk about advance planning!), which has also been another way of me avoiding revision. I've planned a big party on friday for people in my year at school, in order to celebrate the end of AS exams. I'm also planning on having another party the day after for all the other people I hang around, but that'll prolly be a bit smaller scale. Anyway, I've been getting people to place an alcohol order nice and early so that i can stop worrying about the plannin and get on with some revision. And about 5 minutes ago I took a look at the list, to see how much I have so far. And I thought it was quite a lot, around 50 bottles of kronenburg, 24 small bottles of smirnoff, 4 red russian, like 7 bottles of other alcopops, 4 big bottles of cider and two bottles of vodka, which is a fair bit of alcohol. Then I realised that this only accounted for 18 out of the 38 people who are invited, and nor did it include me. Now, I plan on buying a 20 bottle crate of kronenburg for myself, even if I don't plan on drinking it all. But then theres the alcohol for 11 other people who are buying their own, plus 8 people who I haven't got alcohol orders off yet, but have said that they're coming. So basically, that alcohol order is going to pretty much double. Which scares me. I'm not sure theres enough room in my house for about 40 people and that amount of alcohol.... But we shall find out.

Anyway, on with the events of the past few days. I'd love to say that I've been revising all the time, but the truth is I really haven't. I've been doing about an hour, maybe an hour and a half of revision a day. I've spent the rest of the time on msn, playing Guild Wars, and also playing a lot of Mario 64 DS. And then I did something silly today and bought Guild Wars: Factions, which is the latest update to Guild Wars, giving me an entire new campaign to complete. I have yet to open it, but I can only last so long. The game, it calls to me. I am so failing psychology on thurday and geog on friday.

It's the devil's way now, there is no way out, you can scream and you can shout, it's too late now.

So, one piss easy exam down, 6 hard exams to go. Joy. At least study leave has started, and I never have to go to another geography lesson ever again, which makes me incredibly happy. Unfortunately, the fact that I am currently listening to Radiohead effectively drains any happiness that I could have. Why does depressing music have to be so good. Anyway, on to the past week or so. Last friday I was round pilchs for the evening, with the stoners. The evening, according to pilch, was a "gathering", but dubya assured him it was a party, as there were more than 10 people there, everyone was wasted, and people were ordering pizza. I wasn't terribly wasted, but nicely drunk a little stoned thanks to the fact that everytime I walked out the back door I was offered about 5 joints. But it was all good, until at about 10 there were reports of pilch's 'rents being nearby, so everyone packed up and left in a hurry. We later found out that pilchs 'rents didn't get back for another hour or so, and that someone had fucked up. But we all headed home anyway, and I went to bed still nicely intoxicated. On saturday I revised, then went to adrians in the evening, where I did most defiently get wasted. I spent most of the evening drinking beer, with ardy nagging me to start drinking JD with him, and eventually we both got round to this, and lots of JD and coke was drunk. I somehow managed to drink ardy under the table without even thinking about it, as while I was still at least mostly in control of my motor functions, ardy apparently spent most of the night throwing up in the toilet, while me and saul managed to somehow make it over to kates house at about half 1 in the morning, with saul stacking it through the front door and a fair few times on the way over. We hung there for an hour or so, before making the long walk home. I chucked saul a sleeping bag, as he was sleeping on my couch downstairs, and then i took myself to bed. Sunday was spent mostly nursing a nagging hangover, the type where theres nothing really wrong but you just don't fancy doing much. And then it was time to complete my last two days of school before the exams, which was done with extreme boredom. Unfortunately I have been into school every day this week, thanks to a geography revision on wednesday and then having to go in again later on when i found out that my psych investigation booklet had gone missing. Then I had to go in again on thursday to finish re-doing my booklet, and friday was the piss easy psychology exam, which everyone found pretty easy, which is a good start to the exams. Friday evening was spent mostly at mikes, where there was much drinking, a short game of on the bus and then a long walk and wet home with katie, as I wasn't that hammered that I thought it was a good idea for her to walk all the way from mikes back to hillingdon alone. But the award for most awesome thing that I've seen all week goes to the Final Fantasy XIII trailer. I've been waiting for another non-online Final Fantasy game since the blasphemy that was Final Fantasy X-2, and this doesn't fail to deliver. Now I just need the money for the (apparently) stupidly overpriced PS3. I may have to sell one of my kidneys, 'cause for this it would be damn well worth it. I live for RPGs. Speaking of which, I'm gonna go play some Guild Wars.

I may be paranoid, but I'm not an android.

Damn, its such a nice day out there and here I am sitting inside on my computer. I haven't even done any revision yet, and I've been home for like 2 and a half hours. I'm totally gonna fail my AS levels. I believe a quick post is in order. Anyway, on to the past week. Friday was, as is becoming the habit, spent down the fields, I drank some lovely Jack Daniels and got nicely drunk plus a little stoned thanks to some time spent with the stoners. Saturday i think i revised about half an hour total, went into uxby with my mum to get some summer shirts and then the evening was spent at Ask celebrating rachels birthday, ate some tasty food and did all the sociable stuff, then headed off home for more sleeping. Sunday I spent lazing around, doing basically nothing. Though I did notice that I'm in a stage where my music tastes have pretty much returned to their roots, which means a lot of metallica, some anthrax and various other metal bands. Though I still have time for some indie, and I've been listening to The Decemberists a lot lately. its all good. The week so far has been very boring schoolwise, with lots of exam papers and people going "well this is our last lesson" which is scaring me a bit. On wednesday I was doing exams from 11:30 till halfway through my lasy lesson, with a history test periods 5 and 6, then a test with mahli at lunch, and a politics test last thing. i totally failed the politics test, it was on referendums which neither me or jenni knew fuck all about. So we sat there and played noughts and crosses and hangman, hangman normally devolving into insulting each other. One example was of jenni using the word "asshole" as the word I had to guess. When I had guessed it, i put 5 words in front of "asshole" to make "jenni loves it up the asshole". Perfect comeback. Didn't please jenni too much though. After the test we went and sat in the sun for a while, with sam kear screaming about wasps everytime she was one. Apparently she has a phobia of wasps. Today we played football in the park as usual, and the fact that i was playing in goal most of the time where there is some shade made me very glad, as the sun was killing me. I also wasted my lesson in psychology by starting a new poem on mr calverts "magnetic poetry board", which is convieniently right behind my desk. Mr calvert made me very happy by giving me lots of new words which I could use (theres only a certain amout of words on the board, so half the time the poems made relatively little sense), so me and rachel made a poem each, which was fun. And now, I believe it is time for some revision. Au revoir.

People of the earth, you have failed, you still worship the sun and the daily mail.

So, its the hottest day of the year so far. And since having come home from school, I have not even left the house. Despite really wanting to go out, I made no real effort to organise anything except whinging to richy c that we should do something. And I didn't do too well at that either. On the upside, I did get a bit of revision done. And I do mean a bit, as in about an hour so far. But thats a lot compared to the nothing I've been doing. And I plan t0 do some more after updating this. But I suppose I had better tell the tale of the past week. Its really the only reason i update this thing. I only really write for myself, so I can look back through these blog archives and actually remember my childhood. Thats why I like taking lots of photos as well, i don't want to forgot anything about this time. Anyway, on with the post. Last week at school was fairly uneventful, we played football in the park on thursday (which was repeated today). Friday we headed down to the fields again for a good old fashioned piss up. Though it was really more just sitting down, chatting, drinking and listening to music. I ended up having to walk kate home, as her dad couldn't come and pick her up. Wasn't too bad though, everyone left like 15 mins after and I was still drinking while walking kate home. I got home about 12, played some Guild Wars then went to bed. Saturday was spent having a nice manly night in at James'. We played pool, ate pizza and other such highly unhealthy food. I headed home at about 11, intending to get a half decent nights sleep before Give It A Name on sunday. Failed miserably. At 12:30 on sunday, me and richy met up and headed up into London. We got to Earls Court pretty quickly, but then came out the station at the wrong entrance, meaning we did a circle to get back to Earls Court itself. Along the way I was laughing so hard at the amount of emo kids all around me, even being yelled at by a bunch of girls for laughing at them. When we got in we were greeted by richy c's college friend, emo eddy. He was pretty cool, but emo as his nickname dictates. We then sat around for a while, listened to some of the opening bands and waited for the bigger bands to come on. The first major band was We Are Scientists, who were very out of place, being the only indie band at an emo gig. Unsurprisingly, they were very good, the sound was great and though most of the emo fags failed to appreciate them, I loved it. The next big band was Goldfinger, who were also awesome. Despite getting on a bit, theu totally captivated the audience and where the only band of the evening who got yells of "one more song". Somehow, Goldfinger also produced the biggest moshpits, with two of three pits joining together to form one huge rectangular one. Straight after Goldfinger were Hundred Reasons, a band I had heard little by but richy c recommended so I tagged along to see them. They were pretty cool, perhaps a bit too emo for my taste and me and richy c were being harrased by some strange girl who tryed to kiss richy, was putting her hands round my waist when my back was towards her and trying to grab hold of trousers and stuff. I managed to elbow her hand away, and then she got dragged away by the crowd moving, which was all good. After Hundred Reasons were Tom Delonges new band, Angels and Airwaves. I'd been listening to their album before I came out, and it ws pretty good, and they're performance reflected that. When i saw Blink back in december 04, they frankly sucked, they were all out of sync and it was hard to understand anything, so it was nice to see Tom back on his old form. Taking Back Sunday reinstated the amazing emoness of the evening, and the bassist being hit in the face with the mike made it even more interesting, especially when he came back on with blood all over his face and a bandage on his head. TBS played a pretty cool set, even if they didn't play "You're So Last Summer" (ie: winner of most emo lyric ever with "you could slit my throat, and with my one last gasping breath I'd apologise for bleeding on your shirt"). Next up were of course the Lostprophets themselves, and Ian Watkins new gay emo hairstyle was like the horns on a deer, the gayest and most emo hair showing that he was the alpha male (or emo) of the evening. They played a pretty awesome set, aside from about four new songs which didn't sound too great. Unfortunately they didn't play Ode To Summer, but they finished with Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja, so all was forgiven. Me and richy then made our way home, arriving at mikes around 11:30 to view the end of the party. We hung around for a couple of hours before me and gareth walked home, and I had to walk some of the way home as richy c was sleeping over. I bunked my paper round on monday, and spent the may bank holiday doing precisely nothing. but its friday tomorrow, time to get hammered!
